  My Grandmother has died today

  this morning, my grandmother died at age 92. she was a jw and i never told her that i quit years ago (but i guess my father told her).

  fortunately, i had a chance to see her a last time this tuesday when i tried to see her and learnt she was in hospital.

  my father had not told me that she was in hospital.

  Fluff topic: Summer salads for dinner so you don't heat up the kitchen!

  i know this is not exciting for most, but for those who have to put dinner on the table every night.....sometimes cooking stinks big time, especially during summer months.

  here is my contribution for a fantastic greek shrimp salad.....its addictive!

  1 pound corkscrew pasta cooked aladante and cooled.

  Bad Haircuts.

  i lost all confidence in myself today - i cut my hair and it looks terrible-so strange to think all courage i had in myself could evaporate with a haircut.. then i rememberd all the courage i had (the doors i knocked and theocratic talks i gave) in the name of jehover.. (i guess iam the oposite of sampson !!).

  anyway i was thinking whilst being a j-w was one long bad -haircut.

  what were the positives?.
